Avatara Skin Sheet Mask Update !

Hey everyone, this week, I wanted to review Avatara's sheet masks. If you've been with me for a while, you'll know that I wrote a review on three of Avatara's sheet masks. I got great feedback from it, so today, I wanted to write about four more.

If you don't know, Avatara is a sheet mask brand that custom crafts a serum that packs a punch. In just 20 minutes, your skin will be refreshed, hydrated and glowing.

Let's start off with the first mask!

Even Out - 7/10 "Skin loves a smoothie. Tighten, Retexturize, and revitalize the look of uneven skin with this exclusive cocktail of pore minimizers." This mask seems to really hydrate and refresh my skin, like all Avatara masks do, but this really targets pores. If you have large pores, I would really suggest trying this because it really helps tighten them up. You guys might know that I have pores literally the size of craters, so this was definitely an essential for me! This mask also includes arnica montana flower extract and hibiscus sabdariffa flower extract, which are really beneficial to the skin in many different ways.

Plump Up - 8/10 "When skin's looking a bit hung over, reboot and smooth it with our exclusive cocktail of skin restorers." This mask is similar to the Fill it Up mask (check my previous post for more information) because they both are intended to hydrate and boost your skin's elasticity. However, this one mostly targets tired skin. If you have bags under your eyes or if you're just exhausted, this can be a great mask for you. This is really helpful for me when I've have a hard week at school or am just really tired. It includes calendula officinalis flower extract which is great for anti-inflammatory, and pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, which has recently been added to a lot of skin and body products. The extract is essential for skin conditioning, emulsion stabilizing, and increasing viscosity. Avatars has definitely done their research for great ingredients!

Chill Out - 8/10 "When skin's feeling a bit tense, this exclusive cocktail of skin soothers can help relax and soften." This mask targets stressed skin, so it's a great little reward at the end of a hard day! This is another mask that I feel like was made for me! It includes centella asiatica extract, which is an ancient healing plant that has recently made a comeback in skincare products. It is rich in amino acids, beta carotene (converts to vitamin A which is essential for healthy skin), fatty acids, and numerous potent phytochemicals. Another key ingredient is ginkgo biloba leaf extract, which has strong antioxidant properties and is helpful for anti-aging. I loved the cooling feeling of this mask, and the mask is even more effective if you put it in the fridge before you use it.

Shape Up - 6/10 "Restore elasticity so skin can look and feel its best with this exclusive cocktail of energizing ingredients." This mask is key for delicate or aged skin. I personally didn't see much difference between this and a couple of the other masks, but it did give similar results as the others, so at least it was beneficial. However, it features some great ingredients like ginkgo biloba, which is said to be one of oldest species in the world. In fact, "it is so old that it is considered as a ‘living fossil’—a species that has successfully survived major extinction events that our mother earth has seen to date" (style craze). It is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and cleansing. This mask also features citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract which is also very cleansing and toning.

Overall, I think that Avatara has really done a great job of finding the best ingredients for their face masks. Each one is really unique and effective. I would really suggest trying the Chill Out or the Even Out which are my two faves in this post! I hope you enjoyed reading this post, make sure to check out Avatara and more posts from this blog.
