I have been passionate about writing from a very young age and I fell in love with photography a couple years ago at about thirteen years old. I am now sixteen and I'm still in love with creative writing and photography. After being on my school's student media staff for five years, I became editor-and-chief of our website, The Pride Online. This year, I was inspired to create personal, opinionated content. I created this lifestyle blog with hopes of inspiring others to pursue their passions as well.
In April 2017, I was selected as the 3rd Place winner in the Quill and Scroll Blogging Competition. Quill and Scroll International Honor Society for High School Journalists is a renowned and respected society started by George Gallop in the 1920's to acknowledge excellent scholastic journalism nationwide.

I have been writing for a large chunk of my life. I recently discovered the art of poetry, and how the words naturally flow out of me. I wanted to share my words with the world, so Decided to self-publish my first book called Finding Roots!
